Kunga T Dukpa - Founder & Principal
Kunga T. Dukpa, a proud Bhutanese national, came to Australia to pursue higher education and completed his Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Canberra. His strong passion for learning, numbers, and professional growth led him to build a solid foundation in finance, taxation, and compliance.
Kunga is a Registered Tax Agent and a practising member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), reflecting his commitment to high professional standards. Expanding his expertise further, he became a licensed Finance and Mortgage Broker and is an active member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).
His career journey is diverse and distinguished. In Bhutan, Kunga began as an Assistant Internal Auditor with the Royal Government of Bhutan, where he developed deep skills in risk assessment, compliance, and financial integrity. After moving to Australia, he gained valuable experience at the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, followed by private-sector roles as a Business Development Manager at Aussie Finance and Home Loans and as a Sales Agent with Red Brick Properties.
This unique blend of auditing, superannuation, mortgage broking, and property sales gives Kunga a well-rounded perspective and a strong ability to guide clients through complex financial decisions. His leadership at KTD Business reflects his commitment to professionalism, cultural understanding, and genuine care for the communities he serves.
Yan Kumar Bhujel – Tax Accountant
Yan Kumar Bhujel is a Tax Accountant at KTD Business, originally from Bhutan and now based in Canberra. He completed his Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Canberra, continuing a strong academic focus on accounting and auditing that began in Year 12.
Yan joined KTD Business in July 2024 as a part-time tax preparer while studying, and his strong work ethic and ability to quickly grasp Australian taxation helped him secure a full-time Tax Accountant role immediately after graduating in May 2025.
Before joining KTD full-time, Yan gained valuable experience as an External Auditor with the Royal Government of Bhutan and later worked briefly with the ACT Audit Office, where he built familiarity with Australian audit standards, financial reporting, and compliance processes. These experiences have shaped him into a reliable, analytical, and client-focused professional.
At KTD, Yan brings together his auditing background, attention to detail, and passion for helping people to provide accurate, clear, and friendly tax and accounting support to individuals and small businesses across Australia.
Rinzin Tsheten - Innovation & Business
Rinzin plays a strategic supporting role within KTD Business, contributing across technical operations, digital infrastructure, and business development. With over three years of technical experience from 2017 to 2020, he brings strong capabilities in systems management, digital technologies, and operational problem-solving, enabling him to handle complex tasks with precision and efficiency.
He holds a Diploma of Information Technology (Cybersecurity) and is completing a Bachelor of IT (Cybersecurity and Forensics) at Murdoch University, further strengthening his skills in secure data handling, information systems, CRM administration, workflow optimisation, and digital analytics.
Within KTD Business, Rinzin supports technical coordination, digital system maintenance, CRM updates, and client file processing, ensuring that internal processes remain accurate, structured, and compliant. He also contributes to the company’s digital presence through content planning, social media management, and digital communication, supporting greater visibility and engagement.
Known for his reliability, analytical mindset, and commitment to improvement, Rinzin provides valuable support to both the operational stability and strategic growth of KTD Business, making him an important contributor to the organisation’s ongoing development.
